Dimensions
W: 36cm (14in) x H: 25cm (10in)

1910's/1920's

Notes
Hall’s (possibly G.W. Hall & Co., Birmingham) sanitary washable distemper was a brand of interior wall paint, essentially an early form of water-based paint or whitewash popular from the late Victorian period into the 1930s. The sign was manufactured by Wildman & Meguyer (clearly marked) which adds to its rarity.

Condition Moderate edge wear and enamel loss but excellent colour retention and readable text so good display condition for its age
