Notes
Most likely a public house / brewery-related sign. British Oak was a particularly popular pub name across the UK symbolising strength, tradition, and patriotism (especially in the World War I and II periods). Many breweries such as Mitchells & Butlers, and other regional brewers, used bespoke enamel signs like this for their pub branding
Condition Enamel still retains a good shine. Small enamel losses around fixing holes (common due to stress from bolts) and minor chips, but no large-scale rust-through. The bold lettering is fully intact and striking
