1910's/1920's
Notes
This was a typical GPO (General Post Office) worded sign in the early 20th century to advertise that telegrams could be dictated over the phone rather than handed in at a telegraph counter. These enamel signs were put up at post offices, railway stations, shops and kiosks to advertise the dual service.
Condition Shows some chipping and rusting around the bolt holes and edges but the main enamel field and text are excellent.
